History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hlin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man wears a yellow vest and prefers grey and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized opal on his right hand. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Barkeep but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Gifted from a young age, Korfel studied abroad. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Korfel was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a trident and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Voice: Excited and jittery

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He very much looks the part of a Detective. His blue crest is still thick. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the south were limited. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and his religion dominates his actions
