History: Andry was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
