Description: He is lean but muscular and is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hobart grew up listening to his father's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Hobart was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has wavy beige fur. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Drifting isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Tabaxi unity. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Drifting alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Drifting was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and carries ceremonial daggers. Her chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. Her hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.
History: She was born in a small forest village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end her boredom

Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her auburn hair is wavy and long. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.
History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
