She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire.
