He prefers to carry a longbow, but if one is not available he will default to his crossbow. His brown fur is thinning but still full. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kite was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: This slender woman stands about 6'5". She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She has moderate length white crest. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a brown vest and prefers white and tan shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her white hair has been sun bleached extensively. She has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Nalaed took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up crossbow and armor she uses now. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. She keeps her black hair in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: The child of a Jeweler, who enjoyed hunting, Jo was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
