The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This tall, slender man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Elaim speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Elaim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Lorilla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lorilla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
