History: Baern hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Chassath hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A freak accident while working with her Tailor father left her crippled. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
