History: Sammal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. River enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized red coat. Her red hair is lengthy. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

He carries with him a set of shortbows on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length blue hair. His gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortbow use. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his religion dominates his actions
