History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mayor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Balam was horrified and prayed that his father was alright.
