Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Cora hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Cora was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gifted student she started as a Carter, but she got bored and became a Scribe. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.
