Personality: Mardred is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Gilbert was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. After a long history of fighting, Andram and his spouse have recently divorced.
