Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her red crest is knotted and matted. Her red eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed black hat.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Savaran does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and money/treasure

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Roland is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gifted student he started as a Weaver, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To be a Weaver again; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
