History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Oblar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Marbas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: She comes from a rich western family. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
