Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She carries with her a set of tridents on her belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. Her hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are likewise violet. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To be a Carpenter again; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Gifted from a young age, Emma studied abroad. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Courier, and she later adopted a second son.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Leaf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
