Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Barendd lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. After a long history of fighting, Barendd and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 4'4" and dresses well, wearing grey shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born at the edge of vast island. A freak accident while working with his Performer father left him crippled. During his travels, Tordek and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Tordek discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Tordek fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A freak accident while working with her Layabout father left her crippled. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sage for the past few years.
Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and expand her business

Personality: Alice speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Gifted from a young age, Alice studied abroad. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Detective for the past few years.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
