History: Born in the east to a Butcher, Mardnab learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Mardnab took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She got into the Carter business at a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, and carries rapiers. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people.
