Personality: Matilda wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She takes great joy in being the best Herbalist in town.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has achieved small success as a Herbalist.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Veloptima isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She worked as a nervous Shipwright and found it very stressful. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She prefers to wear flannel. She wears a colorful flower in her blue crest. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now mingles about in high society.
