History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Revenge; and obtaining odd cultural tiefling artifacts is his passion

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
