History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He has the majority of his body covered in plate. He carries with him a set of shields, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Korfel isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Korfel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Frug was born the youngest of three triplets. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. After a long history of fighting, Frug and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To be a Performer again; and balancing his hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult
