She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Andraste alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
