Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nija does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Nija hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Nija was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Adran was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he loathes his own lifestyle
