History: Merla lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Dyer born in the past three hundred years. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Jarsali learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He dresses like a well dressed Guard does. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His white crest is greasy and uncared for. His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Guard. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Gifted from a young age, Mreksh studied abroad. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Guard and occasionally as a mercenary.
