Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and many brigands want her driven away

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Baelitae was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Painter. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and expand his business
