History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Portia grew up listening to her father's many stories. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Beatrice is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Beatrice was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
