History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Stableman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Stableman work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Stableman soon after.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: He is fixated on the number 43. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. Her skin is dark but she possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. She is typically in her Ruler uniform. Her moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dalaba embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Ruler business.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Ruler for the past few years.
