History: Born in the north to a Banker, Mara learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again; and she is unsatisfied with her job
