History: Chay hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
