History: He comes from a rich eastern family. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by a spirit.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital.
