Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. Her hair is golden and curly. Her blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theirastra grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theirastra. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against illithids

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This northern man wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his axe. His clothes are grease stained in places. His dark red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are likewise silver. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is mildly Tiefling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: He was born in the north. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion
