Description: This late middle aged woman wears professional attire and is in decent physical shape. Her fur is red and very short. Her eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Hunter but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lone grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lone. Being a Hunter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is dressed in an above average manner. His hair is long and golden with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized pastel coat. He has no fur. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Miller profession.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: To be a Miller again; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the right. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
