History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Patrick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Mary has worked very hard to control her curse. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and balancing her hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult
