History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Jade took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor she uses now. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
