Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Griselda enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Griselda was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ghaliver grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ghaliver. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. After coming to the age of reason, Nutae took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by his family.
