History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Althaea grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and sabotage a competitor
