History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Zephan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Baelitae was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Brewer. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
