History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Architect, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heian was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
