History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Gaaki reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Gaaki and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'11" when asserting himself. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born in the north. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she wants revenge against drow
