History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Pelaios was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born into a rich family. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Verin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
