History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Roland was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
