History: Born in the north to a Beggar, Balam learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Butcher, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
