To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Percival. He's also a talented Mason, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: Her right side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a longbow, but if one is not available she will default to her lance. Her hair is white and curly. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
