History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and to reunite with her old friends
