Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Ahvain never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Born in the north to a Guard, Oda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Miller, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable
