Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with her Bookbinder mother left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Herbalist born in the past three hundred years. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Elaim was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Herbalist. He's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is unsatisfied with his job
