History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bhevek was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Bhevek was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bhevek's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Sage, but she was a colossal failure. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: To be a Sage again; and balancing her hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Trym grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Trym. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
