Description: An older man who wears a green costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso, he is not a threatening figure. His dark red hair is thinning but still full. His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Her blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She got into the Performer business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Doctor, but she got bored and became a Performer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sun lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She has done her best to style her blonde hair to look like a famous performer. Her violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
