Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.
