Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Baern alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Merihim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Sculptor. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sculptor and was forced into it by his family; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Cartwright business.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy silver stubble. She wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. She has a hunchback. Her silver hair is well kept. Her amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She is a Deep Scion in disguise. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion
