History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hatae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
