Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Shifting was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her childhood dream was to be a Hunter, but she was a colossal failure. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lamlis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up work as a Navigator and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Harbek has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
